WHO MAKES UP THE NETWORK?
The Network brings together the Shires of Wellington and East Gippsland, government/non-government and Catholic secondary schools from Yarram through to Mallacoota, Koori organisations, TAFE, ACE providers, youth and welfare agencies, employment services, industry groups and employers to work together for the young people of our community.


WHO IS THE TARGET GROUP
The network recognises the disadvantages experienced by koori, disabled and rurally isolated young people aged between 15-19 years and living in the Wellington and East Gippsland Shires.



Locate the young people who are not linked to any organisation and provide the opportunity for them to re-enter education and training.

Track and monitor the progress of young people as they make the transition from education to employment.

Plan the delivery of programs and support for young people.

Build links with industry and other organisations in order to improve and coordinate employment opportunities for young people.

Act as an advocate for the young people of Gippsland East and provide advice and accurate data to the Victorian Learning and Employment Skills Commission.
